Get out your rhythm sticks and learn all about drums and how they can make sound.

Groove It

Get ready to dance and learn just how instruments work together with sound to make amazing music!

CAMP ITINERARY

  • 9:00-9:15 Drop-off

  • 9:15-9:30 Welcome to Camp

  • 9:30-10:00 Introduction to daily themes + Storytime

  • 10:00-10:45 Museum Exploration*

  • 10:45-11:00 Snack time**

  • 11:00-11:30 Hands-on Science/Engineering Activity

  • 11:30-12:00 Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) Activities: campers can choose from different hands-on activities based on their interest.

  • 12:00-12:45 Lunch**

  • 12:45-1:15 Museum Exploration*

  • 1:15-1:45 Hands-on Art Activity

  • 1:45-2:00 Closing Storytime and Dismissal

*Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor museum exploration each day
**Campers are required to bring their own (peanut-free) snacks and lunches. Snacks and lunches will be eaten in the Indoor Classroom.
