Bubbly Witches Brew Science Experiment is a fun activity perfect for the Halloween season! We’re going to be scientists by creating a chemical reaction when we combine vinegar and baking soda. Mixing two or more things makes something new and in our case, we’ll be brewing our own witch potion.

MATERIALS

  • Vinegar

  • Measuring cup

  • Baking soda

  • Food coloring

  • Small container (witches’ cauldron optional)

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Measure ¼ cup of vinegar in a cup and add food coloring of your choosing. We chose green!

Now add ½ cup of baking soda into a separate container.

STEP 3

Pour your colored vinegar mixture into the baking soda container and get ready for a spooky chemical reaction!
