STREAM Activity: Arctic Sensory Bin

This Sensory Bin is Snow Much Fun!
Activity best for children ages four and up

Snow is a special kind of weather that happens in the winter when it gets very cold. Snow is a unique kind of weather because not all places are cold enough to get snow! Snow is formed when tiny drops of water inside clouds get really cold and freeze into ice crystals. When these crystals fall they stick together and make snowflakes! Today we will be making our own taste-safe snow made from materials that we can find at home.  This is a great sensory tool to feel different textures without getting our hands cold.
