San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum provides hands-on educational workshops for Girl Scouts throughout the year. Each 45-minute workshop is led by a Museum Educator and includes free admission to the Museum. Choose from several badge workshops and receive a free Museum patch!

View our monthly schedule below! Public workshop times may be shared with other troops, providing a great opportunity to mingle and meet other Scouts in San Diego.
WORKSHOP TIMES
All workshops are 45 minutes and include Museum exploration time afterwards. The Museum will remain open until 6:00 p.m. for workshop participants on these days only. Troop check-in will begin 15 minutes before workshop start time.

CHAPERONES
A 5:1 child to adult ratio is the minimum requirement. We allow 1 free chaperone per child. Any additional adults must pay museum admission. Chaperones may be asked to sit and observe from outside the workshop space if it becomes too crowded.

PRIVATE GIRL SCOUT WORKSHOP
Can’t make one of our scheduled workshop dates? Book a private workshop on a day that works for your troop. Private workshops are available Tuesday-Saturday and are subject to availability.
