Grab your flashlights and get ready for an adventure to learn about the fascinating plants and animals that thrive at night with San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum! Campers will learn about nocturnal plants and animals and how they live in the dark through hands-on STREAM activities and crafts.

CAMP ITINERARY

  • 9:00-9:15 Drop-off
  • 9:15-9:30 Welcome to Camp

  • 9:30-10:00 Introduction to daily themes + Storytime

  • 10:00-10:45 Museum Exploration*

  • 10:45-11:00 Snack time**

  • 11:00-11:30 Hands-on Science/Engineering Activity

  • 11:30-12:00 Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) Activities: campers can choose from different hands-on activities based on their interest.

  • 12:00-12:45 Lunch**

  • 12:45-1:15 Museum Exploration*

  • 1:15-1:45 Hands-on Art Activity

  • 1:45-2:00 Closing Storytime and Dismissal

*Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor museum exploration each day
**Campers are required to bring their own (peanut-free) snacks and lunches. Snacks and lunches will be eaten in the Indoor Classroom.
