A paper bag backpack.

STREAM Activity: Paper Bag Backpack

Happy first day of school!
Activity best for children ages three and up

The first day of school can be an exciting time but also make some little ones nervous. Practicing what the first day of school will be like can greatly reduce anxiety for students by familiarizing them with the routine and environment in advance. This preparation allows children to anticipate what to expect upon entering school, making them feel more confident and less apprehensive. Let’s celebrate the day by making our own backpack craft to help kids feel less anxious.
