Art Activity: Roll-a-Miro

Make a shape picture just like Spanish artist Joan Miro!
Activity best for children age 4 and up

MATERIALS

  • Roll-a-Miro Directions

  • Blank paper

  • Dice or spinner (from any board game, Don’t have a dice? No problem! Find a template you can print and make at home below)

  • Crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Roll one die. Draw the “Body Shape” shown under the number rolled. Be sure to draw it large, but leave room for the head. Roll again and add the “Head Shape” shown under the number rolled. Continue rolling and adding the eyes and nose. Roll again for “Shapes to Add” and again for “Lines to Add”. Optional: Roll once more for “Shapes to Add” and again add the shape under the number shown. Do the same for “Lines to Add” if desired.
